From Hardship to Hope: Daughter’s Ministry Transforms Lives of Children from Broken Homes – Kigali, Rwanda

In 2020, the Daughters of Charity in Kicukiro, Kigali, Rwanda recognized a significant need to support families affected by divorce, as no similar services existed in the area. In response, they launched a project to accompany children of separated parents, providing psychological support and guidance in their emotional, moral, and intellectual development. The initiative also promotes strong human and Christian values to help the children navigate challenging transitions with resilience. Through their ministry, many children and adolescents receive educational assistance, emotional support, and mentorship, providing stability and encouragement amid the difficulties in their family lives.
