The Daughters of Charity are dedicated to providing educational opportunities for underprivileged girls in Joldam, India. At present, about 70 girls live in a temporary bamboo and tin structure that is inadequate for their well-being. A permanent dormitory is urgently needed to offer a safe, healthy living environment. Once completed, the new facility will accommodate up to 150 girls from first through tenth grade, including many who are currently excluded due to limited space.
