Daughters of Charity serve impoverished elderly individuals at the San Vicente de Paul Nursing Home in Tacuarembó, Uruguay. Some of the equipment in the nursing home is significantly outdated, with items either broken, in disrepair, or not functioning properly. This poses risks to residents’ overall quality of care. The goal of this project is to paint the kitchen
walls and provide water tanks, water heaters, an air conditioner, a vegetable and fruit chamber, a freezer, kitchen cookware, a mixer, a bread maker, and a new washing machine to meet the needs of the residents and caretakers.
