Daughters of Charity aim to improve the health of about 1,000 children, adolescents, and vulnerable people in Peru’s Awajún district by installing a water purification plant at the San Vicente de Paul – Awajun Educational Institution. The project will provide clean drinking water, reduce gastrointestinal diseases, promote hygiene, and raise awareness about water safety. Activities include training staff on system use, workshops on food handling and
handwashing, and regular maintenance. The project will directly benefit students and the surrounding community by ensuring safe water access and improving overall health and hygiene.
