The literacy school aims to tackle the rising illiteracy rate among street children in a poverty-stricken neighborhood. This year, the school has 307 children from families struggling with poverty, unemployment, and informal work enrolled in the school. The project seeks to address the root causes of educational neglect and combat the dropout of children from school. With a main goal of securing funds to pay teachers’ salaries and expand the teaching staff to meet the growing demand, the project aims to create a supportive environment where children can access quality education and overcome their challenging circumstances.
