DREAM Masanga School Operations

Project Description

The high mortality and morbidity associated with HIV has resulted to an increased number of orphans and widows in the community. This leaves a section of the community (children impacted by HIV), poverty stricken and in need of health, economic, and education resources. The orphaned children are left vulnerable without responsible guardians to provide for their education needs, or are too poor to give them meaningful education.
Currently in the DREAM program, 25 children have critical education needs in primary and secondary schools, colleges and informal learning institutions. The school needs include learning materials such as books, pens, uniforms and school fees as per the different school fee structures.
This project is created to provide all necessary supplies to these children so they are able to continue their education despite the many obstacles they face.
