The goal of this project is to bring “The Adventures of a Navigator” program to eight institutions in Colombia, a country rife with human trafficking, gangs, and drug smuggling. This program is an initiative of the “Defenders of Life” network, whose goal is to raise awareness and to prevent human trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation of children and adolescents (CSEC). The Youth Leadership School (which will carry out “The Adventures of a Navigator” program) will educate, train, and mentor adolescents, empowering them to make healthy decisions to protect themselves and others from trafficking, gangs, and drugs. It will also help them develop leadership capabilities to be healthy leaders in their community.
