The region of Alotau in Papua New Guinea faces extreme levels of poverty. The Sisters are seeking to help break the cycle of poverty and the community’s dependence on outside benefactors for resources including food, shelter, clothing, education, and healthcare. To do so, the Sisters have proposed the construction of the Rosalie Rendu Community Center. This center aims to enhance local lives by offering education, pre-school services, skills training, and dormitory facilities. The envisioned community center represents a significant step toward empowering residents and expanding prospects for a brighter future.
