The community surrounding the JAIRE Center is deeply impoverished with ongoing concerns about drug trafficking; skyrocketing unemployment, crime and addiction issues; a burgeoning migration population and more. In this environment, the Sisters seek to improve a variety of offerings for families – music, dance and craft classes for children as well as educational, training and counseling classes for parents.
