This project responds to the urgent needs of pregnant and lactating women and companions of hospitalized patients who travel from rural and conflict-affected areas to San Juan de Pasto for specialized medical care. Many arrive without financial resources, adequate nutrition, hygiene supplies, or a safe place to stay. Operated by the Daughters of Charity at Casa Divina Providencia, the project provides dignified shelter, nutritious meals, personal hygiene kits, and comprehensive emotional, psychological, and spiritual support. Nutritional support is also extended to vulnerable women in rural areas to prevent malnutrition and pregnancy-related complications.
