The Daughters of Charity Vocational Training Centre in Ghana serves around 140 vulnerable girls and young women from low-income and broken families. The Centre currently faces critical challenges including unreliable electricity, lack of clean water access, and inadequate sanitation facilities that impede the health, safety, and learning environment for the residents. To address these challenges, the Sisters project will install a solar energy system to ensure affordable and reliable power, drill and equip a borehole for a continuous clean water supply, and construct toilets and washing facilities to improve health and hygiene.
