Project Description

The goal of this project is to develop the orthopedic service of the Siloé Center and to take care of congenital deformities and fractures identified in the city of Mbandaka and its surrounding areas. The Siloé Center provides direct care for 397 disabled children and 214 adults. This project aims by 2025 to treat the 200 children with congenital deformities (clubfeet) who are also in the outskirts of Mbandaka using the Ponseti method and tenoplasty. And by 2025, the 300 vulnerable fracture patients from the public road accidents through orthopedic and surgical treatment.v
