The Daughters of Charity Rehabilitation Center is the focal point for many of the health issues in the community. The updated water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) project will include hand washing stations at strategic points in the center and camp, clean and reliable water access, and construction of toilets and latrines. These added elements will decrease the spread of illness and disease, restore human dignity, and provide a sterile, comfortable facility for those that depend on the Daughters of Charity Rehabilitation Center, particularly those effected by leprosy.
