El Tambo – social and mentorship programs to combat trafficking

Project Description

The Sisters in Tambo offer young people in their community a phased program of counseling and mentorship where they can discover skills and competencies that allow them to opt for a lifestyle other than the predominant drugs and trafficking options. This project helps fight the abandonment of children and young people due to overwhelming societal and economic stressors. The program will be introduced to 400 students of the San Carlos Educational Institution. It will show them that they can: develop strategies to redirect their lives, acquire skills which allow them to attain goals, and face the complex realities surrounding them
