DAUGHTERS OF CHARITY
OF ST. VINCENT DE PAUL
INTERNATIONAL PROJECT SERVICES
A significant number of children in Cambodia suffer from malnutrition. This not only compromises physical and mental development, but it also increases vulnerability to disease and recurrent infection. Chronic malnutrition has sadly led to a high infant and child mortality rate in the country. Assistance from this project allowed for a nutrition program that served 60 children by offering lunch and snacks Monday through Thursday. Height and weight monitored each month recorded their progress.
