DAUGHTERS OF CHARITY
OF ST. VINCENT DE PAUL
INTERNATIONAL PROJECT SERVICES
Lack of food, poor sanitation, and unclean water are serious health risks for persons living in Dembidollo. Access to health care services is especially difficult for those who are marginalized and living in remote areas. In response, the local Daughters of Charity provide diverse vital health care services to prevent disease, treat the sick, and educate the community. This project will allow the Sisters to purchase food items including wheat, rice, and oil for persons who are sick and poor. It will also address the needs during this time of COVID-19 by providing safe health care necessitates like personal protective equipment (PPE) such as face masks and gloves, and cleaning products to meet sanitation requirements.
