INTERNATIONAL PROJECT SERVICES

MEDICAL AND OTHER AID FOR THE VULNERABLE HOMELESS

Odessa, UKRAINE

Project Description

The Daughters of Charity in Odessa focus much of their efforts towards caring for sick, homeless, and poor persons. This ministry includes a variety of services such as providing treatment for wounds, burns, and frostbite as well as medications, hygiene care, and support for those struggling with drug/alcohol addiction. The Sisters work with volunteers to care for the homeless population. The recent war in Ukraine has increased the number of refugees and injured; the Sisters are supporting these persons as well. This project will reach 100-150 homeless individuals by offering them basic medical care, clothing, hygiene items, and spiritual support.
