COMPUTERS FOR NURSING SCHOOL

Cochabamba, BOLIVIA

Project Description

Elizabeth Seton Nursing School replaced their old and outdated computers with 10 new computers in their on-campus lab. The computer lab is providing increased opportunity for refining studies, research and skill sets for students. At Elizabeth Seton education centers on holistic care of patients with the emphasis on disease prevention. Doctors, university educators, nurses, postgraduates and school staff have access to the new computers. Students are saving time and money in transportation and the cost of using computers in a commercial rental facility. Computer access also brings lower income students from rural areas who attend the school into a new world of technology where they will gain the reflexes to help them evolve into capable professionals in their chosen medical specialty. Approximately 300 students working toward a bachelor’s Degree in nursing will use this computer lab annually.
