DAUGHTERS OF CHARITY
OF ST. VINCENT DE PAUL
INTERNATIONAL PROJECT SERVICES
In order to effectively work with the underprivileged community in Rwanda, Burundi, and Central Africa Republic, the Daughters of Charity require specific training and formation. In response, this project was designed to offer professional knowledge and competencies to ten Daughters of Charity. These Sisters were able to participate in university and higher institute courses in subjects such as health, education, and social services. These skills are essential in the communities in which the Sisters serve. Six Sisters have completely finished their studies and are now putting their new skills to good use in serving persons who are poor.
