DAUGHTERS OF CHARITY
OF ST. VINCENT DE PAUL
INTERNATIONAL PROJECT SERVICES
This project will address the insufficient food supply for marginalized and vulnerable people in four areas of Kenya – Nairobi, Kitale, Kiio, and Thigio. The troubling lack of food is primarily due to limited employment opportunities, poor harvests as a result of drought/low rain fall, and sickness/disability. The Sisters expect to reach 1,053 individuals through this program in 2018. Prepared meals and weekly food parcels will be distributed. Nutritionally rich items such as: beans, corn, meat, vegetables, and eggs will be purchased.
